How Many Ounces Of Formula Should A 7 Mth Old Be Drinking?

My daughter just turned 7 mths old. My friend said to start her on a sippy cup and give her around 32 oz of formula a day & that she can eat 3 times a day (of baby food) and drink 1/2 cup of juice. Is that right? Can someone give me an example of their feeding schedule?
